What this channel does
One source of truth for what we chase — organic and paid — so targeting stops living in tribal memory and page decisions become lookups instead of judgment calls.
The play
- The centralized portfolio — one keyword / job-title spreadsheet, director-level vs. practitioner-level targets distinguished, built from the account audit. Paid and organic draw from the same sheet.
- The keyword-to-content map — a clean Sanity export of every live URL (Scott), merged with Ahrefs + Google Search Console + paid media keyword data, so every page shows what it ranks for, earns, and gets bid on.
- Head-term assignment — every new sitemap page owns one major head term (vector database, semantic cache); cannibalization flagged; coverage gaps become the new-page queue.
- Own the net-new terms early — where a term is new (agent memory), go high on search impression share and take the position before it's contested, accepting different-looking efficiency metrics.
- Deep-directory verdicts — blog, resources, and glossary reviewed against the map: keep, fix, consolidate, or retire per URL. Feeds Phase 03 directly.
Measured by
Map coverage (every URL mapped, every new page term-assigned), impression share on owned head terms, and the keep/fix/retire verdict completion across deep directories.
Current state
Pipeline defined; the Sanity export is the first domino (Scott, week of Sep 8), the incoming agency carries the merge and mapping legwork.
Spec lives in the website program (the content & keyword map). Inferred from the briefs — corrections to Nash.
