Full Stack Developer 1
Builds and maintains the site on the Sanity + Next.js stack.
JOB DESCRIPTION
edit content/roles/full-stack-developer-1.md
Builds and maintains the site on the Sanity + Next.js stack. The first of two identically scoped web engineering seats on Scott's team; see also Full Stack Developer 2 (Stalin Ramos, in place).
What you'll do
- Ship page components, templates, and features against Scott's roadmap in Next.js.
- Build and maintain the shared component library and design system so new pages stay consistent without one-off custom code.
- Own performance, accessibility, and cross-browser correctness on everything you ship.
- Partner with the Content Manager and Digital Media & Content Specialist roles so pages are ready in time to support live campaigns rather than blocking them.
- Pick up overflow and parallel-track work alongside Full Stack Developer 2 so the roadmap isn't gated on a single engineer.
- Implement technical SEO and structured-data fixes in partnership with the Growth Specialist, SEO/AEO role.
About you
- Production experience with Next.js and a headless CMS (Sanity or comparable).
- Comfortable owning a feature end to end, from spec to deploy, without heavy hand-holding.
- Working knowledge of web performance and accessibility fundamentals (Core Web Vitals, WCAG basics).
Nice to have: experience working inside a formal design system (Storybook or similar); experience shipping in a marketing-site context where campaigns depend on ship dates.
